Gin Distilling Experience
Our signature gin making experiences at our gin school are the perfect gift, treat, date night and would be a splendid way to celebrate any special occasion. You’ll spend your time creating your personal botanical recipe and distilling your gin You will sample drinking a selection of ours and other local gins and leave with your very own bespoke 70cl bottle of gin…
The Nab Lab provides a fun and enjoyable adventure for all. You can book 1 to 11 people on any sitting.
Corporate Hire
Host a corporate event with a difference. Enjoy a day in our secluded and unique venue, away from all the distractions of the office and then bond over making some tasty gin. We can also provide delicious locally produced food on request. The venue has a WC and a kitchen with tea and coffee making facilities.
Exclusive Events
We hold a number of exclusive events each month around different themes, these include wedding gin making experiences for couples who are due to get married and want their very own bespoke bottles of gin and/or mini favours, to wow your guests with. Private Venue Hire
Our gorgeous venue, in the very centre of Whalley village, is available for private hire and holds up to 16 people (seated) comfortably. The room can hold up to 26 people (seated and standing) We can also provide delicious locally produced food on request. The venue also has WC and a kitchen, with tea and coffee making facilities.
Our Exclusive ‘Spirit of The Nab’ Gins
The Spirit Of The Nab gins were created at home by Brooke, the founder, whilst having treatment for breast cancer. Brooke and her hubby spent many hours perfecting the botanicals used and distilling them in their mini still in their utility room!
We will be looking at different gin flavours in the future - so watch this space!

Meet Lisa & Kieran
Hello! We're Lisa and Kieran, and we're delighted to welcome you to The Nab Lab, our family-run Gin School nestled in the heart of Whalley in the beautiful Ribble Valley. Along with our two children, Aoifa and Finnolagh, we pour our passion into creating a truly unique and memorable experience for every visitor.
While we are the family proudly running the lab today, our story is built on strong foundations. The concept was originally established by Brooke, who first created the exclusive 'Spirit of The Nab' gins right at home. It’s from this inspiring beginning, named after the stunning local landmark Whalley Nab, that the business’s commitment to community and local spirit endures.
We look forward to welcoming you soon to our warm, friendly local business!
